We select weathered red siding boards from vintage barns. Boards are precision milled with tongue & groove to 1/2 inch thick. We set the planer knives to skim the surface so that some of the original paint remains on the wood, while some of the rich patina of the vintage wood is exposed. Widths include a mix of 2 1/4", 3", 4" and 5" boards with lengths from 8 inches to 6 feet.
This is reclaimed wood that we've re-manufactured to make it beautiful, consistent and easy to install. Makes a great accent or feature wall or ceiling.
Note: The original barn paint on this product may contain lead additives. We recommend encapsulating the surface with multiple coats of clear, water-based polyurethane, and following recommended guidelines when sawing, sanding, etc.
